It's just woods and swamp now. The lake bordered the rear of the school property and backed up to the Breckenridge and Briarcliff Woods East subdivisions.

Thanks...and I figured this. After I read your post, I was thinking that it must be/could be all of that low, "wettish" land near the school...



There are several instances like this around the metro...the LA Fitness (formerly Kroger) shopping center right across from Sprayberry High in East Cobb use to be a lake/pond until the mid/late 80's.

Another vote for the City of Decatur. It's a great neighborhood, and it is immediately adjacent to Emory. You could literally walk to work!!!

No way. Commute would kill u. Decatur, morningside, oakhurst, Druid hills, midtown would be better.

It's not an option to travel from East Cobb to Emory in traffic here. It took me 2! hours on Friday morning to get from I-20 to Northside. Traffic is terrible in either direction on any interstate which cross 285
