My husband got a really good job offer in Conley when we had been planning a move to Warner Robins. I need advice on a very good school district with lots of youth sports offered and plenty for families to do. Lots of kids in neighborhood. We want to be within 40 miles of Conely. My kids are in all 3 levels of school and 2 have special needs, all 3 play Football, Baseball, Basketball. I loved the pools, baseball diamonds and activities in the gated communities in Warner Robins. We are looking to rent at around 900-1000 monthly with 4 bedrroms and atleast 1800 square feet, big yard. I have viewed Stockbridge info but am flying by the Google map Gods can some people down there help direct us?

Conley is near Forest Park, and it is mostly an industrial area / transportation hub. The immediate area is Clayton County which I do not recommend living if you plan on using public schools.
Henry County (Stockbridge, McDonough, etc) is indeed closer to Conley, but the public schools generally are not as strong as those of Fayette County.
Your best public schools rankings by county on the Southside within 40 miles are Fayette County. Peachtree City, which is over 30 miles from Conley, specifically is considered the best area within Fayette County. The drive from Peachtree City to Conley is a solid hour at least during rush hour because most of Fayette County is not very conveniently close to the Interstates (85 or 75).
