the only places like that are flagstaff area and east side of az like payson and the white mountains area. everywhere else is deserty.

Not really, Huachuca Mountains, Chiricahua Mountains, parts of the "Mules", the Dragoon Mountains and some of the mountains around Tucson are green with big tree's. Check it out..

Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside, Greer, Alpine are very green. All Ponderosa Pine trees, no dirt & cactus here!
