Why you shouldn't move to Green Valley, Arizona if you love trees (Phoenix: condos)

Besides having serious water problems, Green Valley, Arizona is filled with people who detest trees. Hard to imagine in a place where summers are over 100 degrees and shade is a premium, or should be. However, here people are so fixated that the Santa Rita Mountains must be visible from every square inch of the community, they regularly destroy trees by cutting off their tops. There are entire neighborhoods where most, if not all, of the trees are butchered. Even sadder is that many HOA's tell homeowners they MUST cut off the tops or face a fine. If you hate trees, this is the place for you. If you love trees, don't buy here.

It's a lot cooler than Phoenix. High transfer fees were a bigger turn off for me. Saw some condos in the 20s.
