We are from Michigan and looking to find a place to winter from Nov. thru Mar. and wondered about Green Valley, Az.. We are comfortable in mobil home communities and like to play golf. What do golf rates typically run? Are there mobile home communities there? We are in our early 60's and want to meet others in our age bracket. Is Green Valley the place for us?

Hi. We are also in early sixties and heading for Green Valley shortly for the winter. Check out VRBO for winter rentals. A great site. Scotty

Another vote for VRBO. I've used for vacations to Maui, Kauai and Tucson and been happy with the places we ended up at each location. We've even rented homes on remote Rarotonga in the Cook Island in the South Pacific. I my opinion renting a house or condo is a much better choice (at least for us) than staying in a hotel or resort. It's is CERTAINLY much cheaper - both because the rates are lower and also because you have a kitchen and so can cook your own meals if you wish - rather than paying restaurant prices all the time.
