Duke City rings of half-empty strip malls built in the seventies with crumbling stucco and front yards with cyclone fencing with tumbleweed drifts.

The 'Q' rings of quickly, cheaply constructed tract homes owned by Californians and Texans with howling coyote statues, lacquered red-chile ristras and kokopellis by the front door who think red chile sauce is made of tomatoes.

I make an amazing authentic New Mexican sun-dried tomato red chili sauce that I like to serve over feta and black and white truffle stuffed Anaheim chili ( that's where Hatch came from, some guy went to Anaheim and stole them ) served with Spanish saffron quinoa and range fed organic tofu beans.
