Okay, maybe it's just me, but I thought this T-Shirt was absolutely
hilarious. Great humor (double true if you recognize who the model is)!



This was photographed Friday evening, April 26th, at graduation ceremonies for 29 students earning certificates and degrees from Ilisagvik College in Barrow. (Later I'll post more pictures, including some of Pamyua, the Bethel based musicians who provided a most delightful evening of entertainment!)

Who is the model?

Craig George is a biologist with the North Slope Borough Department of Wildlife Management. He is one of the most respected whale biologists in the world, primarily due to his Bowhead whale research.

I can't stand Pumyua. They claim to be Bethel residents, they haven't lived here for at least 16 years.

Yup. We are still gaining 6 minutes of daylight a day. I think it's the smoke from fires in Russia that gave it the nice colors.
