About 30 feet, I scrambled back into my car quickly! I had my camera in hand, luckily. I had gone out of the village to give my dog a good walk which I can't do in the village because the dogs there run loose and have tried to attack him more than once. He was still in the car and was just growling low in his throat. I sat in the car for a minute, maybe less, but they started walking toward the car. I drove up the road about a mile turned around and got more shots.
I am truly blessed to live on this island for a period of time. Never in my life did I ever think I would experience nature this close and personal!!
