It's a rare day that a sunset picture can be different enough from the first 2 or 3 million of them that I've seen to make me sit up and say "Wow".

Yeah it's too bad I had to get those electric poles in there. Had I had another 5 or 10 minutes I would have tried for a drilling rig or a pingo. It was setting fast so I just stayed in the parking lot and zoomed in. I'll try to be better prepared tonight.

We've lost so much snow here in Kuparuk in the last 2 days. I wouldn't be surprised if the swans are here next week.

Default Living in Ft. Greely

I lived in Ft. Greely for two years almost 24 years ago. We drove the Al Can back to Alabama. All our pictures were destroyed by an incompetent clerk as they removed them from the camera to process them. These pics remind me of what we saw and lived for those two years, and the days as we were driving. Sigh!!! Truly living.
