I think a great TV show would be Natives/Eskimos in Alaska (Talkeetna: home, camps)

How about the group from city-data get together and make our own production of it? I have seen a lot of great videos/picture from Alaska, don't need no big stinking company to do it.

If you were paying attention all those guys were driving new trucks and pulling new travel trailers this season. I suspect the TV show is payin' them some pretty good bucks. I seriously doubt they are upset about not findin' any gold....

I lived for awhile in Aleutian islands well one island, lol, and the Aleuts are the nicest people ever. But one thing I noticed was a lot get cancer. It is like one after the other. I have known 3 ladies very well and in my span of time tehre they all died of cancer. There is always the superstition that it is in the water from the war. But seriously not just them, but a lot of different people die too. I have never known so many people personally where I am from die. My mom also got breast cancer she lived there for 8 years, not a single person in my family that we know had it. I am not saying she got it from there but just a thing people there say "Something from the war".

Well Cancer can come from a lot of sources, and one is smoking, and many of the natives smoke heavy, so ending up with cancer for a smoker isn't that big of a stretch.

But having said that, the Russians dumped all their nuke waste in the arctic ocean, there me be something to the radiation theory.
