- Food Storage - Clean and Dry Location
Observation: In the walk-in refrigerator, several boxes of beef patties were observed sitting in a plastic bread rack which provided only 1/2" clearance off of floor.
In the walk-in freezer, a large box of frozen french fries were observed sitting directly on the floor surface.;All foods stored in refrigeration/ freezer units must be stored at least 6" above the floor surface.

Observation: beef patties in top of pattie refrigeration unit were observed at 49°F
Correction: All beef pattie product in the top of the refrigeration unit was discarded. The unit was discovered to have been left unplugged when moved earlier in the day (unit is relatively small and on wheels). Shortly after plugging unit into receptacle, the unit cooled to 40°F.

Although the 2 door unit near the drive-thru was recorded at 44°F a violation of regulations is not being cited at this time as management investigated the cause and determined that the unit was in a one hour scheduled defrost.
