Management to provide backflow prevention information on new Starbucks water system. Ensure alfredo sauce is cooled within 4 hours if water is added to prepare it. Observation: a prepared sandwich from a commissary had a sell by date of 9/13. This exceeds a 7 day shelf life for ready to eat foods. Is there an explanation for this? Please inquire about this. Permit can be issued.
  • Food Storage Containers - Identified with Common Name of Food (corrected on site)
    Observation: Unlabeled water bottle used for food.
    Correction: Label working containers with the common name of its contents. Consumers may be allergic to certain foods or ingredients. The mistaken use of an ingredient when the consumer has requested that it not be used may result in severe medical consequences. Liquid foods and granular foods may resemble cleaning compounds. The mistaken use of food from an unlabeled container could result in chemical poisoning.

    Observation: Food dated with more than 7 day shelf life. Meat sauce was found with an expired date.
    Correction: Review proper datemarking with staff. This has been an issue before.

    Correction: Clean.
