There were no previous open hazards to follow-up on. No food was being prepared or held at the time of this inspection. Kitchen was very clean. No critical hazards were observed

    Observation: There was no temperature measuring device located in the Frigidaire freezer on the right.
    Correction: Provide a temperature measuring device in all hot or cold holding equipment used to store potentially hazardous foods so that employees can routinely monitor the ambient air temperature.

There were no previous open hazards to be followed-up on. Person in charge is shutting down the facility for this year. It will reopen in March 2014. Refrigerators/freezers were on but empty of potentially hazardous foods.

Hazard 3440 from the April 15, 2013 inspection has been corrected. Person in charge said he should have hazards 2830 and 2930 corrected within the next week or two.

    Observation: Employees wearing jewelry on their arms and hands while preparing food.
    Correction: Ensure employees are not wearing jewelry on their arms and hands while preparing food. This section does not apply to a plain ring such as a wedding band.
  • Floor and Wall Junctures, Coved, and Enclosed or Sealed (repeated violation)
    Observation: Floor wall juncture in concession stand is not coved and closed to no larger than 1/32 inch space.
    Correction: Cove floor wall juncture to no larger than a 1/32 inch space.
  • Outer Openings - Protected (repeated violation)
    Observation: Outer openings of the food establishment are not protected against entry of insects and rodents.
    Correction: Protect the food establishment against the entry of insects and rodents by 1. Filling or closing holes and other gaps along floors, walls, and ceilings, 2. Closed, tight fitting windows, and 3. Solid, self-closing, tight-fitting doors. Insects and rodents are vectors of disease-causing microorganisms which may be transmitted to humans by contamination of food and food-contact surfaces.

    Correction: Ensure all employees wear hair restraints such as hats, hair coverings or nets, beard restraints, and clothing that covers body hair, that are designed and worn to effectively keep their hair from contacting exposed food, clean equipment, utensils and linens, and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles. This section does not apply to food employees such as counter staff who only serve beverages and wrapped or packaged foods, hostesses, and wait staff if they present a minimal risk of contaminating exposed food

    Correction: Hand soap must be provided at all hand washing lavatories to encourage proper hand washing. Hand cleanser must always be present to aid in reducing microorganisms and particulate matter found on hands.
  • Critical: Toxics - Rodent Bait Stations/Pesticides*
    Observation: Rodent bait station is not covered and tamper-resistant
    Correction: small bait pellets are in a Styrofoam bowl sitting on the floor.
