    Observation: The food manager could not provide a food temperature measuring device.
    Correction: Obtain at least one food temperature measuring device so employees can properly monitor the temperature of food items in the establishment.(0-220*F metal stem required)
  • Sanitizing Solutions, Testing Devices (repeated violation)
    Observation: There is no test kit (QAC), located in the facility for monitoring the concentration of the chemical sanitizing solutions.
    Correction: Obtain a sanitizing test (Quaterary Sanitizing test strips) that employees can accurately monitor the concentration of the sanitizing solutions and maintain them at a safe and effective level.

  • Critical: Equipment - Food Contact Surfaces and Utensils
    Observation: Surfaces of the interior drop plate area of the automatic ice machine (Mold Buildup), was in contact with non-potentially hazardous food (Ice), that were observed soiled with accumulations of grime and debris.
    Correction: Clean the surface of interior areas/drop plate area of the ice machine at any time when contamination may have occurred, at least every 24 hours, before restocking the ice-service equipment(ice machine), per manufacturer specifications.
