Violations discussed with facility director. Refrigerator logs given to operator to assist with daily tracking of the internal temperatures of refrigerators. Additional Employee Health Forms were given to assist with new staff training.
  • Temperature Measuring Devices (corrected on site)
    Observation: There was no temperature measuring device located in two of the refrigerators in the toddler / baby room refrigerators.
    Correction: Provide a temperature measuring device in all hot or cold holding equipment used to store potentially hazardous foods so that employees can routinely monitor the ambient air temperature. Station the thermometers at the front of each unit so that employees will be aware of the warmest temperatures in the unit in order to prevent temperature abuse of toddler/baby foods.
