A full service store, Crazy Cat offers bicycles and bike-related gear for sale and also operates a fully qualified repair department at each of their stores. Description: Crooks is a skate shop that is owned and operated by skateboarders. Dozens of skateboards line the colorful walls of this clean, well-appointed skate shop, while accessories and gear are located in counter cases around the shop. They have a good selection of skater-specific shoes and apparel, but are still obviously a skater-run local shop rather than a big corporate store. Jesse and Marcello Perez first had the idea to open a skate shop in 2004; but it wasn’t until mid-2005 that the two actually opened their dream business. Avid skaters know that the skateboarding world is a tight-knit community, and Crooks sits at the center of El Paso’s, with a focus on building and strengthening the local skateboard community.
