Description: Fulton County operates several tennis facilities. The North Fulton Tennis Center, 500 Abernathy Rd., (404) 303-6182, has 24 lighted courts (20 hard surface and 4 soft courts). Description: The Atlanta Flying Disc Club focuses on perfecting the sport of ultimate Frisbee flying discs. The club has a summer league for beginners, but players at all levels find opportunities to play through AFDC. The club holds two annual tournaments. Description: Appalachian Outfitters, near Dahlonega, about one and a half hours north of Atlanta, offers a couple of hours of lazy tubing, canoeing, and kayaking on the Chestatee and Etowah Rivers as well as some overnight trips.
