Description: This Chastain course was built in the 1940s and first designed by Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen. Its low, rolling terrain is called a championship course. The stone clubhouse, perhaps in tribute to the country synonymous with golf, is modeled after venerable structures in Scotland. Here you will find a pro shop and snack bar. Weekday fees are $30 to $40, $35 to $45 on weekends. Nonresidents pay $2 extra. Walkers take $10 off fees.

Weekday nonresident players pay $25 to $45; on weekends the fee is $50, with a cart. Gwinnett residents pay $6 less.

Greens fees for 18 holes are $25 to $42 Monday through Friday and $26 to $54 Saturday and Sunday.

Description: These two rinks, one on the northeast and one on the northwest side of town, are open for public skating Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to noon; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 4 to 5:30 p.m.; Thursday, 7 to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m. The rink is also open Friday, 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., and Saturday, 7 to 10 p.m. Fees are $7 to $8 per person depending on the length of time the rink is open. Skate rental is $3, if needed. The rinks also provide skating instruction and hockey leagues for all ages.

Description: The massive complex near GA 400 offers seven different fields designed for both recreational and tournament play. It is open only on weekends. You must be at least 11 years old to play and anyone under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. A full day is $30 and a half day is $20; cost includes a semi-auto marker, full face mask, goggles, and field fee. If you have your own equipment, it’s just $10. Season passes are available. Private group pricing is based on 20 or more.
