City: Boulder, CO
Category: Restaurants
Telephone: (303) 449-8890
Address: 2000 Arapahoe Avenue

Description: This place is usually packed with folks, so it’s fun to carry-out after sniffing the maple-stoked stove, where ribs get slathered with sauce that’s tangy—not sweet. Not exactly health food, but, oh, what a decadent treat. The beef sandwiches are popular with a side of potato salad. Eat a slab of pork ribs and you’ll sweat for two hours . . . with a smile on your face. This place is run by Bruce Randolph Jr., an associate minister of Boulder’s Second Baptist Church and son of the late and greatly missed Denver philanthropist “Daddy” Bruce Randolph. Daddy Bruce’s is open for lunch every day except Sunday. No credit cards.

Category: Restaurants
Telephone: (303) 449-1323
