Probably not. The state really needs a comprehensive plan for the entire Panhandle. They have always reacted to traffic needs instead of being proactive.

It's been that way since I lived there 20 years ago. Problem then, problem now.

Very thankful that the state has finally (after years of studying and talking about it) decided to make some much needed improvements to that stretch of road - it has been not only a commuter issue but a safety issue as well for years. Will it be enough, only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, anything has to better than the way it is now, especially considering the projected growth for the county in the coming years.

I have heard that a Pre K school is planned to be built in the open field between Hedgesville High School and James Rumsey and if so this will add whole other level of congestion to an already overcrowded and busy intersection for the morning and afternoon commutes.

I had heard it from someone that works for the school system but do not have any specifics. Although I did see this on online:

Wonder if Foxcroft Sheetz is waiting on a pipe or who knows what? It’s sure taking awhile to get that entrance way open. Good thing that they have another.
