After being the last state to have a positive test for the virus, there are now two confirmed cases in WV. The first case is in the Eastern Panhandle, and the second case is in Mercer County at the opposite end of the state.
Most everything I've seen says it'll peak in mid to late May and should be winding down by the end of June/early July
I am hoping and praying that the steps taken will make your projection about a month late but there may not be enough cases recovered by my hope for that to happen.
The wife of the guy that has it in Shepherdstown told the Journal she got the systems & was getting tested Yesterday, so that will make #3
I read her story. Sounds like they went through a lot trying to get tested.
BTW, there have been a few more cases reported. WV is not immune. It's spreading here just like it has elsewhere. Perhaps we would have reported more if testing kits had been available earlier.
Also, those championship T-Shirts are indeed available for purchase. I thought it was a little strange, so I won't be buying one.
Please take care of yourselves. Stay in hibernation.
