The weather is nice. I for one plan to enjoy it by eating outdoors at restaurants.
Lifting the mandate end of June is just a carrot to pressuring as many people as possible to get a vaccine by that date or be shamed. I think it will work as now even teens can be vaccinated.

I agree. My first thought when I heard this.

Also, I'm assuming that a lot of people who are not vaccinated will no longer wear a mask. Wonder how this is going to work out for stores, etc. There's no way they will know unless they plan on making "unmasked" customers show their "vaccine" id papers to shop there. I see a lot of arguments, etc. coming.......

You are right about the vaccinated feeling special. IMO, this is going to cause a lot of problems if the unvaccinated do wear a mask. If you think the country was divided before, it can only get worse.

Yes, carrots for dummies who are too soft to mask-up.

Whatever works for the sheep.

I'm vaccinated. Anyone who is worried about the virus can now be vaccinated.

I won't be infecting anyone, or telling anyone else what to do. I just want the same.

It doesn't matter if others are vaccinated or not. If you are, you don't need to worry.

No cards needed, no arguments or shaming should be done.

And what I really hope is that it allows all those who work in bars, restaurants, stores, and even doctor's offices, who have had to wear masks ALL DAY, can now take them off. I complain about having to wear it on our way in and out, they have had it much worse.

Inslee needs to act soon to ensure this. Remove any mandate on these businesses, and let people decide for themselves.

Inslee has announced that the state should open 100% by the end of June. However I think possibly the power hungry health officials will dig in and reject opening any time soon so they can look essential.

The state mask mandate was lifted effective immediately last night. Everything else is supposed to end in June.

Really, the non vaxers and selfish non-maskers are as happy as pigs in xxxt. Got their way ranting and crying constitutional, personal freedoms. Check the facts, many places still do not have access to vaccines.

Hide and watch as numbers return to increase. Let’s open up, pretend it’s over, we only killed half-a-million.

The vast majority of Americans are still alive, let’s get on with our lives. Typical stupid American reaction

Another virus will be released and the unvaccinated will be blamed.
