plenty at my place, similar to this in 2009
https://www.city-data.com/forum/membe...abbit-snow.jpg

Wind picked up about 2 AM, power out by 5AM. Drifts to 4 ft (that's not too bad, have seen them to 20' here)

Well house / pipes freezing (@4 properties) is the big concern with no power.

Could be a long week.

OK, it wasn't a bust. My friend in Poulsbo said she has 10" of snow in her yard. Downtown Bremerton has to have at least 4". I know when I went to put the garbage out last night at about 2am, there was 2" in our parking lot. And it just quit snowing at about 9am.

These are two pictures I took out of my window this morning in Bremerton. The third picture is from Port Angeles. Um, yeah, they got 21.5 inches of snow there last night up in the hills.

Edited to add that right now it looks like we might get another 2 to 3 inches before 4pm today, and yet another 2 to 3 inches on Monday, and it's possible another storm may come in on Thursday after that.

Oh, and sorry for the double post. I forgot to add a cam, but I don't know how I reposted that.

We're all going to head for Pt Defiance Park in Tacoma. 2 6 year olds 3 adults and supplies/toys in an all wheel drive Subaru and a 4x4 truck. Pt Defiance has an awesome sledding hill and the park is stunning on a day like today. Hopefully Tatonka Takeout will be open and we can have Buffalo burgers for dinner.

Have fun, Scrat! I hope something's open. I went to my bank yesterday and it was closed "because of inclement weather". And that was hours before the first flakes even hit the ground. Sheesh! I don't if anything is going to even open around here today.

Now that we've been out away from the protection of the house, there is about seven inches here in Rochester.

Cliff is saying more is coming!

I think we got that much snow twice last week.

Down town Sequim....

I measured the snow on our patio table this morning and it measured 18 inches and it is still snowing.
I also shoveled a path down our driveway and an hour later the path was covered with two more inches of snow. The fact is it is snowing harder now (10AM) then it was at 7AM when I shoveled the path to the street. Temperature is below 30 degrees.
Forecast predicts the snow will stop around 1PM.

Many buses yesterday were on a "snow route" even though there was zero snow on the roads. It's beyond ridiculous.
