Some of the bigger stars have been opting out of doing this in recent years (and it would still be hard to met Reba, or Faith, or Garth Brooks), but there are a few surprises every year.

Then if you hang around for a couple of weeks you can go to Bonnaroo, which is held south of Nashville. It's the Woodstock of the south. Big show, big crowds.
I would love to but I can't make it this year. You can bet where ever I end up in Tennesse I will be in Nashville for that festival. There is a girl who is working with me who is from Nashville and works the concessions every year. She invited me to come down this year and go with her. I really, really, wish I could. I love Reba by the way, she's my hero

In that case, when you come here, find out when Reba is in town and have lunch at Valentino's on West End. She sometimes eats there.

I'm not sure whether she still owns the farm north of Nashville or not. It was a pretty fancy horse farm (as you can imagine).

I no longer follow racing. I was a loyal fan back when it was more fan-friendly. I can remember when champions like Richard Petty, Bobby Allison and Fred Lorenzen would spend hours after a race signing autographs. Most of today's drivers wouldn't give you the time of day.

That's pretty sad when you consider NASCAR's roots. NASCAR started with bootleggers who built fast cars to outrun the law. Maybe someone ought to remind them of where they came from. There wouldn't be a NASCAR if it weren't for hard working fans. Even when those fans are buying the products they promote. It's the same with the insane price of any sports seats. But like anything else if we continue to pay, they'll continue to charge.

You're absolutely right, as usual. Ever see the old Robert Mitchum Movie, "Thunder Road?" As to the price of sports tickets, it's the old law of supply and demand.

Yes I did Awesome movie. I know it's supply and demand and that's just the problem. We won't give up the demand so we're gonna pay through the nose for the supply. Don't ya just wish you could convince everybody to stay away from a superbowl football game just once. I know that's practically blastphamy! But I don't think people realize how much control they actually have over these things. Or could have
