...so who needs to walk :-) I'm right on Salt Springs nearer to Seeley.
I agree about the lack of sidewalks being a shortcoming. I get lots and lots of walkers on my street (Scott Ave) from all over that area - not just my street. Moms with strollers, dog walkers, middle aged to elderly exercise walkers.... it all adds to the quality of life experience.
There are some nice houses on Salt Springs and unknown by many is that two Ward Wellington Ward bungalows are there and still nicely maintained - a bit further down near Fenway.
I don't have pictures but all of the steel supports are up for the new overpasses on 81 near Carousel, and workers are starting to lay and weld the steel decking on both bridges. Washington Station seems to be coming along nicely, the concrete core has been rising up from the foundation fairly steadily over the last couple weeks. The old Kirk Hotel redevelopment project is also progressing; third and fourth floors have been added to the Kirk Hotel along Fayette Street and the demolition and stripping work seems to be done in the existing parts of the building...

The overpasses for Court Street and Spencer Street. The construction that has been the reason for all of the traffic hold ups on 81 South. You have to know what I am talking about if you live north of the city

Uhhh... I'm pretty sure that building already had a third and fourth floor - at least it has had them for as long as I can remember (which is over forty years). Is there a building adjacent to it that has had floors added?
Surprising how quickly Washington Station is going up; I suppose this means they're not building underground parking?
