I take vitamin supplements of all kinds because of my issues with general fatigue. I read about Bit D and COVID months ago and have no particular opinion except that no one knows what might help or not, regarding vitamins and COVID.

As for having "no idea" how one might have caught the virus, unless you are absolutely in your home with no other person living or visiting (a situation I think would be rare), it could be caught in any encounter. It's a very tricky and dangerous vascular illness. I know people who have died (mostly over 65, which I and many friends are) and people who have gotten very very sick (all ages) without hospitalization.

Wish you well.
Older bro lives in UT Manhatten, 76/75. They are virtually prisoners at home.

The administration of shots is not going as fast as predicted it would and I fear it will get even slower.

Good thing they feel it will work for the 2nd type of virus that has gotten here.

Vascepa (isosapent ethyl, the better half of fish oil--omega 3s) may have some efficacy to aid in covid recovery.
https://investor.amarincorp.com/news...-results-pilot

this really gives you constipation. I am not an AR person so vascepa is an hinderance.

FYI, TMI. For me, the side affects of Vascepa didn't become really noticeable until the 3rd month, at full recommended dosage. I stopped Vascepa at 6 months but try to take 2-5 capsules per week.

Perverbial disclaimer: I own stock in Amarin, maker of Vascepa.

Always a good idea to get your D level checked at doc...I felt great at 80 back in 2007 and then levels dropped with hip replacement in 2010 and now I'm hovering in the 40's and can't get back up...

When I started my journey in 2006, I was at a stinkin 16....low low low...

Do research and talk to SMART doc, there are many who are truly DUMB. I've met enough.

Vitamin C blast.
I ALWAYS do this. I use hand sanitizer going in, and going out, and never touch my face or mask. I don't believe that surfaces are a major conveyance of the virus, but I prefer to mitigate that risk.
