What about times though, when someone tells you how dangerous a certain city is, or don't go to that certain part of town and you happen there and you discover that there really was nothing to fear of ,other than being attentive to your surroundings. Well, what if that is what lies behind the curtain of death...Nothing but a perceived dangerous place ,yet when you really step on actual ground there it's nothing, but a new place of discovery, another journey? If the crime stats for the city is faith-based, it definitely is not trustworthy.

Religion does not study what's right, what's wrong -- there are some old scriptures from thousands of years ago -- human societies are much more dynamic.

Well cowardice of the wrath of your deity thing seems to be the driving force that keeps the 'believers' in line. So I guess you might see it as bravery, but the reality is it is just keeping one's mind open to reason and not blindly following some nonsensical urban legend.
