A bit of problem is that humans, as they are on this planet, by virtue of their nature, are in guna of ignorance and, that comes with senses picking only negative first. We a priori are barely capable of seeing positive.
But yes, OP, good call. Hope, I do my contribution by chanting mahamantra several times a day and doing my best, listening to my mind of rightness and reason. Not easy...
In society?
Well, it was touching King Charles said a sweet thing publicly - Wishing Harry and Megan well with their new life over seas ...sending them his love. Thanking his Mama and Papa.
Well done, new King.
And so sweet to be so gracious when that woman kissed your cheek.
Thank you to those in our 'society' around the world that participate in the plastic clean
up in our oceans and their beaches.
And those that donate to www.heifer.org to help sustain families in need.
Big applause goes out into the Universe.
Well, if we are this type of posts, thank you, forklift operator at Ford, living in the same apartment for lifetime and driving same Ford Escort yet, giving $2 000 000 to scholarship, with the words "I never had a chance to go to good education, I want them to have that opportunity".
I wish all debaters on here would be like QB. One doesn't have to agree with the other person's philosophy to have adult and reasonable conversations about it.
And hell yeah, I'm as guilty as most others here about being sarcastic and at times snarky. I'll try to do better... no promises, but I will try.
Where's the fun in that? We have to be who we are. I wish I were more like QuakerBaker but I'm just not. So I guess I will remain silly, goofy, sarcastic and snarky. We can definitely appreciate QB's posts though.
There is a similar thread in OT, I shared there the nice and memorable things that some people have done for me and others. I didn't mention the time I was eating at a local restaurant, alone, and when I got up to pay they told me someone had already paid for my dinner. I thought that was fantastic and they didn't require any thank you's. Paying it forward.
