We just dropped the price of our house $22,000 yesterday due to nobody wanting to even look at my house. Hopefully the price drop does some good!

Does your agent send out a 'hot sheet' to area agents about the reduction?
If you have already had showings, will your agentlet them know of the price drop too, in case someone wants to re- visit the property?
Can a reduced sign be put on over your regular sign?

just a brainstorming here, gotta keep those gerbils working

go hammy
go hammy
go hammy YAY
whee
good wishes are coming your
way

Better keep the gift card on a seperate addendum unless you have cash or big down payment buyers (over 20%). The underwriters don't want to see anything like that.

Good Luck! A $20K drop made our home break showing records for our RE's office.

A gas gift card? Why don't you just drop the price an additional $5,000? Anyone who buys into that gimmick is going to pay interest on that gift card for 30 years through their mortgage.

The best of luck to you. We are under contract now for 70K less than what we listed for last August. I feel your pain.

Yikes! $70k is a huge drop. If you don't mind me asking, where is your house located and how much was it originally listed for?
