What does it have to do with freedom of thought? If someone doesnt want to participate in the book burning (which I think is stupid) then they dont have to. It has nothing to do with Christianity it has to do with weak minded people who only do what they are told by authority, which in this case is a pastor.

No.

Simply no.

If a parent doesn't want his or her child to read a particular book...fine, don't buy the book.

But burning books has a whole other message to it, and it's one of those things that I believe can fairly be described as "evil". What groups have burned books before? Think about it.

Among the groups have been communists and Nazis.

If you don't get, then you don't get it. There's nothing difficult to understand about my post.

Are you trying to say that they shouldnt be burning books? If that is what you are trying to say( and failed to say) then I agree with you. In fact I stated as such in my first post.

Though I still dont know what your "No. Simply no." Had to do with my post.

That's just how people have always been, are, and will always be. Just how it is.

Im sorry but i too am not sure what you are saying No to: it must either be about book burning or about freedom of thought in Christainity. Or both?

People of Christ are called to forsake the works of the devil .......... So they trash or burn what the devil has spiritual authority over ....... If other people don't believe there’s a devil or God, then they are not even in the program.........
