why is it so hard for people to see that we, if yo don't mind me taking that liberty, only focus on fundy-think-types expressing a statement of belief about god and not the group as a whole?

Thanks man for keeping things separated and straight. Too many go one way or the other (bash all or welcome all), but you've got proper insight and balance

That's because he can see the differences in the way people act and what they say, even if they can't.

There are countless people who call themselves Christians but stay home on meeting day and say they have ought against Christians , as it is like God keeps people who cannot keep the commandment out of the church ......... See people in the church are critical for getting saved to the right spirit of Christ , as many people get saved at home and ignore the call of God and adopt the spirit of gnois which will come as a substitute for God but would be of the higher understanding proud spirit with no power of God ...... Where Christian who go to church should have the true spirit of Christ through Jesus on their lives which brings the life changing power of God ...............So if you does like Christians then Get Over It

So, this is saying, then, if a person believes all of the Nicene Creed, and tries their darnedest

thus, does not 'act like or resemble Christ' - they are not Christian to you?
That's what it sounds like.

I hear this quite often: I can't like everyone and everyone can't like me. However, I think Jesus may be the one person that many people can like.

That's like saying I don't like all atheists because there are a few jerks on this forum. But that would be a stupid, condescending, prejudiced statement. Fact is, I've known some very nice people that identified as atheist.

Is it possible to “like” Jesus but not be a Christian? I suppose so, but as a Christian myself, I can’t see the differentiation. I wonder if those who say this have read everything Jesus said, because it wasn’t all puppies and unicorns.

Some of us can separate the wheat from the chaff.

Fundies can't, or won't, which makes them dangerous.
