It's as much "science" as the theory of evolution. I'm not suggesting we teach in depth Biblical education...but there is nothing wrong with suggesting that it's a possibility that the universe was created.
No, it's not science. The theory of evolution is science because it can be falsified and because it makes predictions about what we actually see.
Evolution is not a theory in the sense of a guess or an imperfect fact. It is as much a fact as the Theory of Gravity.
How exactly do we disprove evolution? Lack of evidence? Been there, done that.
That is not what falsify means in science....The theory of evolution can be said to be falsifiable because it is possible to conduct an experiment such that its predictions can be demonstrated to be either true, or untrue.
Evolution is falsifiable. God is not.

We have yet to see it observed. We have gaping holes in the evidence for it....but hey...if you want to cling to that idiotic theory, knock yourself out.

Evolution most certainly has, and is being observed every day....Only an idiot would say that evolution is idiotic...You have no doubt used products yourself that without knowledge of evolution would not exist today...Tell me what gaping holes are you talking about and I'll fill them for you.

that kind of an attitude doesn't really endear yourself to us. When you insult us and call us names....it's no wonder we don't really care to discuss things honestly with you.

Uhhh, You used the word idiot first Vizio, and are you trying to tell me what you said to me wasn't meant to be insulting? I would have to be an idiot to believe an idiotic theory, no? I thought you claimed to be logical.
Private and parochial schools have been teaching creationism along with the 10 commandments AND the Bible for decades and their students have far excelled their public school counterparts in literally everything from academics to relationships to careers. The problem isn't creationism. The problem is liberalism.
Parochial schools do not teach Creationism and the vast majority of private schools don't either.

It's as much "science" as the universe emerging from the Hellenistic Egg.
Saying evolution is false or idiotic etc. is akin to saying gravity is false and idiotic. Creationism and ID need to be kept out of science class. Science class is for teaching science. Evolution is a verifiable fact of life supported by all the evidence. Creationism/ID on the otherhand have as much evidence as there is for invisible snowmen.
