Nope!!!! Slowly packing boxes of stuff that will definately be kept and dumping some of the big furniture. Soooo much crap after all these years and it's already been thinned dramatically, once in '85 for move to Tulsa and then again in '95 to come back here, but still way too much. The housing market is slowly improving, but that will not stop me.

I'm too old to move too fast and just thinking about driving the moving van is not as exciting as it was in '95. IT WILL HAPPEN. The when is the big question.

FutureCB, we will welcome you with a meal when you get here. Of course, it has to be okie food, grits, fried okra, chicken fried steak, and biscuits and gravy, and that's just for breakfast.

I see they are making repairs to the Redbird Highway in preparation for Future Country Bumpkin's arrival.

Future, these are animals that taste good. You will like them. Go to Meers for a huge buffalo burger when you get here.

Okie housing is available for you~ and durn cheap too!

Smile Just some pics

Now I know that these aren't pictures of Beautiful Oklahoma.
But I thought that I would share some pictures of mine and Bjb123 last camping trip up to East Harbor State Park here in the Buckeye with you folks. This is one of the many harbors off Lake Erie and one of the few clean fishing and swimming spots. The third photo you can see Kelly's Island in the distance, one of Ohio's few good tourist spots. Most of the people who live there get back and forth either by ferry boats or small private planes which they have garages at thier homes for, like most of us do for our cars.

And last picture is of a local Flying Sea Rat, as we call them.

FCB, I can't for the life of me remember a picture of a tree with a stake in it. But then again, I have a hard time remembering last week.

Yep, that was "just a storm" but I hear it was pretty rare...My Dad who is nearing 80yrs said he hasn't seen lightning like that in these parts since he was a boy.

Found a little more damage just today!! We have a 10' X 12' Metal shed that is 99% complete (haven't added the doors yet)...it has a plywood floor and is set on a brick foundation. We noticed today that the wind moved it a good 8 inches to one side and one corner is now hanging OFF the brick foundation.

Now we just have to figure out how to move it back.

Great pics SeaBee! (I mean EB ) Off to clean up my pics from the Fair.

This guy was my favorite...he was so determined to look "handsome" for his picture he kept bobbing his head around and doing different *poses*
