Your post includes some interesting stuff especially regarding the two companies. I only recently became aware that P66 had spun back off of CoP. Am noticing P66 branded pumps around now.

Yeah. The plan is to start with renting.

Indeed interesting info on the two companies. Thinking about it... it is puzzling (and probably a telling sign about P66): why did they need ride-service options outside? I mean its unlikely people came to work in public transit there.

A very good friend worked for P66 before the merger and for Shell earlier in his career in NO. He loved P66 and they treated him very well. He was Upstream Engineer with lots of experience designing and building harsh condition operations platforms.

His experience is in Houston with them but for what its worth thought I would through in this view

Thanks @Johnhw2 With split, the upstream went with CoP. So, I think this aligns with what @jtoast said.

Right my friend retired from COP but worked upstream. He was with P66 when the merger with Conoco happened. Before that he was with Shell but his fav was P66.

Your comment made me curious and I see like they are selling like 30% up compared to past 1-2 years. That's some uptick. Of course, I only checked handful of them. How much do the housing prices swing there?

I wouldn't be surprised that houses have gone up by around 30% in much of Oklahoma over the past two years. It's not as easy in Stillwater as it used to be to find a nice 3-bedroom home for under $150,000 to $200,000.

There are hardly any on the market when I filter out "pending". As if, half the available houses have been sold in past 30 days. Few seems to be sold within a day. Very interesting.

Chinese investors (and others) are scooping up housing to rent out to field/greenhouse growers. This is happening all over OK. It really hurts inventory for families seeking a home.

There will surely soon to be more than usual houses for sale by May when school is out.
