VERY good advice JRR. My dad used to apply snuff to all kinds of bites (even stings) and it worked.

But they really are tiny. When they get on you, all you see is a little red dot moving around - then it starts to itch!

Last summer I got chiggers really bad, and if i had used your tobacco method i would have tobacco poisoning. be good on a few though. cover up and spray. if anyone buys that electronic itch eraser and it works let me know. bet the tobacco draws out the poison of the ticks, etc. though.

According to the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", Windex should take care of everything. Anyone ever try it on chigger bites?

That's probably due to the ammonia content...

When I got stung by a Man O' War in Miami,
ammonia was the recommended treatment back then.

Good thing there's no jellyfish in OK....
Or is someone here going to tell me that they come up the rivers there?
(Wouldn't surprise me a bit!)

i've got a hunch that if i got stung by a jellyfish, i wouldnt be caring much about ANYTHING but making the sting go away!
