Most people here kept going, and they even worked. The only time many stores were closed was when we had the ice storm and the electricity was out. Ours was out for a week, but we bought a generator, which by the way was hard to find as they sold out as soon as they came into the stores. I just happened to call a store that was getting them in, gave them my Visa number and had them hold one for me. When we went to pick it up at Sears we were the last ones out the door with one.

I don't know about chains in Grove, but we didn't need them here. 2 to 3 inches just doesn't require chains, and the road crew was out very early doing major streets first and then residential.

nice pics. that wind chime got pretty beat up. we get some pretty bad hail here sometimes. the worst thing about our weather is the drought/flood cycle. its either friggin huge drought and everything is too dry for months or its huge rain and everything is soggy for months.

Default Oklahoma Pictures

I've been thinking of this for a few days now and decided to start this on my home state forum. Many of you have such beautiful pics of OK and here are just a few that I found from our trip there.

Even though it isn't majestic like Methodist is, we just loved this little church there. And the last two pics are of~what else~Grand Lake by Grove. There were still many pelicans when we were there and we thought that was so nice.

Just adding~if anyone isn't sure how to post pics, Jessaka has instructions on Page 15 of this thread.

I don't know. I only know that it is a new building in South Tulsa (on Yale, I believe). It's a really interesting building though, isn't it?
