Unless they add provisions, it will harm single parents who make between 20-50k (clearly a group that can afford to be harmed by it ) We can drop taxes on millionaires by 9% but raise them on single parents who barely make enough to live on? All right.

ETA: *now* it's time for both parties to work together. But it wasn't when republicans blocked Obama from appointing a Supreme Court justice by refusing to even *have a hearing* about his nominee even though not a single one of them had a valid actual concern about the nominee's judicial record. But now we need to work together. K cool.

There are a lot of people in the Midwest who still haven't got it through their heads that manufacturing jobs aren't coming back. Manufacturing output is actually very high and climbing, but the total number of jobs continues to decline over time. What do all those Trump voters think is happening? It's not that all those jobs are now overseas. Instead, they're being lost to technology and innovation. No president, especially not Trump, is going to be able to reverse 50 years of technological advancement to make sure Bob in Michigan can go back to working in steel production and make an income with benefits that supports the purchase of a house, 2 cars and 3 kids. It's not happening, folks. As far as the rest of Hillary's economic message, perhaps she didn't do the best job selling it, but the plan and the details were available for anyone who wanted to do even a bit of casual research. Shouldn't it be the responsibility of the voters to actually be informed? In the end, the people who believed that Trump was going to save a dying way of life are going to be really disappointed when he can't perform a miracle.

Why can't one care about social issues and also economics? They are not mutually exclusive. I don't get your point here at all. Doing the right thing should not be a political position. Treating others as human beings that deserve equal rights and protections should not be a liberal viewpoint.

And I continue to wait on the answer to my states rights question.
Nothing economically that Obama was doing was helping the past eight years. The division of this country was made worse in my opinion. It's more than just Trump job and infastructure ideas. Most of the country is fed up with no borders and illegal aliens taking jobs and lowering the standard of living. It's against the law. Peoplr liked his message. I think people like a candidate that is not afraid to say what's on his mind and go against the media and Status Quo of both parties. I also think the majority of Americans are just finally fed up with Washington. Imo Trump has many things that I agree with. And others I'm going to take a wait-and-see approach he's only been president for 30 days for crying out loud. But I am sure of one thing. This country will definitely shift back to the middle from where Obama has taken it the past eight years. And one last thing. I'm so glad Hillary lost the election. Ding dong the witch is dead

1. Obama’s Numbers July 2016 Update Check your facts before spouting party lines.

2. This isn't "the middle" that we've shifted to.

3. Calling Hillary "the witch," "that b*tch," etc is sexist and entirely beside the point. You want to disagree with her policies? Great. Go for it.
