Same, I would walk out. If the businesses suffer, they should take it up with the elected officials.

People seem to forget that Cuomo was begging people to come back to the city a few weeks/months ago. The city/state's tax base is getting hollowed out and the people most affected are cheering it on

Mine, too (27). Mind boggling.

The restaurants & bars are being threatened with massive fines and penalties if they don't require proof of vaccination

The owners are completely screwed on this, either they destroy their customer trust or they get shut down

Let's say 20% are hesitant and won't change their minds in the short term. Those 20% don't go to those businesses. So the businesses try to cut costs/quality declines. Which leads to fewer customers.

Any one with an IQ above room temperature can see where this is going. The problem is de Blasio (and Cuomo) are below the aforementioned requirement.

In NYC it's 40% with no shots. There is no good reason to get the vaccine if you have natural immunity from a previous infection, or if you're healthy and below 30

If you're fat with diabetes or over 60, then you're taking a big risk by not taking the vaccine. And honestly, that's nobody else's responsibility except yours and dear leader can't bubble wrap civilization because you're special

Yup, and if people vote for Adams....they are just getting DeBlasio 2.0. Time for folks to smarten up at the voting booth!

I am afraid that they’re going to make us get a third shot. Have you seen the covid proof application? The pass is only for one year. People need to protest this draconian government. They’re already doing so in France and Australia. Those poor Aussies are still in lockdown even with the vaccine! That is crazy!

Only 20% of those over 16 are vaccinated in Australia.

So there is your answer, vaccines work when you get them and if the population resists , well here is the outcome….

discrimination - the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things.

second class citizen - person belonging to a social or political group whose rights and opportunities are inferior to those of the dominant group in a society.

YOU CHOSE not to get the vaccine.

You could get vaccinated at any time, FOR FREE, and in NY you'd be paid $100.

Too bad for you.
