I would never enter such an establishment regardless of my vaccine status because I respect my fellow Americans' right to choose what goes into their bodies without any animosity or judgment.
I am vaccinated, and I'd go in, but would not leave a tip if I asked a waiter/waitress if he/she were vaccinated, and she showed me his/her card showing they were. I'd do that since I find what ths business is doing reprehensible.
If the owners want to play games, play them as a patron in ways they failed to expect, so you create internal business dysfunction.
I was sitting down today eating in a restaurant in NYC, and I had to get up and give me up seat (for a vaccinated customer) and go eat outside.
I remember in school they use to tell the story of a little old lady named rosa parks who wouldn't give up her seat in a bus because she was tried. I think she ended up getting arrested
whats going to happen when someone says its to cold to eat outside, and they dont want to leave will they get arrested?

Boycott is the operative word here.
Dont get arrested - just dont support businesses that dont support you.
If you are going to be relegated to delivery only - then support delivery only (no establishments with table service that might otherwise deliver, also). If you will be forced to eat outside, then only support street food vendors, or bring your own home-cooked food with you.

BTW, the app does NOT work for anyone vaccinated outside NY
when i read about this i thought i was missing something. i got vaccinated in NJ so it seems as though I wouldn't be able to even use this app IF i wanted to.
Forgetting whether or not this should even be done in the first place,how did this imbecile deblasio not realize tourists won't be able to use this app?
