Hi,

Has anyone purchased houses in windsor cove , east windsor by Pulte?
Are they negotiating on upgrades or the sale price?

I heard property taxes are way too high and schools are not great.

Would appreciate comments!

Thanks!

I live in Wendover Commons in East Windsor...right around the corner from Windsor Cove. Yes, taxes are higher than surrounding areas but it balances out with the sale price being lower and you get more house for the money. Schools are average, However there are tons of young families moving in and alot of new development. You have to make at least a decent living to afford these houses. It has been attracting many white collar professionals in the last few years with all the new construction (Mcmansions) which leads me to believe schools will just keep getting better and better. They recently built a brand new elementary school to accomodate this growing town...And take this for what it's worth...there are TONS of asians in my development moving in which if history is any indication...this definitely helps with school district!!

So looks like windsor cove by Pulte is not so popular ;-) ...any folks out here were able to negotiate on the price/options?

I would advise thinking very carefully before moving East Windsor.

With the taxes going up and the schools not showing a lot of improvement, you also have to think about selling the house down the road.

I think you could find a comparable existing home elsewhere in East Windsor for 100k less.

Maybe so, but for new construction, those prices are competitive.
