It would seem that with all the music successes there are, the right entrepenuar/visionary could make this a success. If there is more land adjacent to the park, adding family/kid friendly rides, music venues and other activity possibilities could have the necessay impact to make this idea profitable. A one price family/group/vehicle admission price combined with a per concert/show additional cost and various food/drink/souvenier/game(Midway) boothes there would be no end to possible avenues for sales. My family and I were looking forward to visiting the Hard Rock Amusement Park after seeing its construction on Mega Building program on the science channel. What a bummer to find it's closed. That had to be a colossal loss for the builders & investors. The Hard Rock Cafe is not such a huge success at all locations around the country, either. Who researched the park idea & thought it would be a go?

The 50's & 60's were a very pivotal period in commercial music, but a great deal of change has been occurring recently, too. The park would definitely benefit from a wider appeal across the music spectrum. Someone said the size of the place was much too small. That will never work. Hershey Park, Six Flags, Kings Dominion, Disney Land, Disney World, Magic Mountain, all the major parks are huge. If the park cannot be expanded, they may as well sell the rides and dismantle it. It's gotta' be big!
