It all depends on how bad you want it. As far as teaching goes, it is a little 'who you know' as far as getting jobs but once you start subbing and they get to know you, you'll eventually get a full time teaching job.

I agree. One of my kids friends lives in the Dunes. Driving over the bridge to it we thought wow, what a beautiful place. Then we saw the 500k to 1m homes and lots of them. These people are not making minimum wage people. So there are some good paying jobs in MB somewhere. Lots of 300k homes all over the MB area in decent nice areas. So not every job in 10.00 an hour jobs like most try to make people believe.

Although there are certainly some jobs in the area that pay well, I'd also argue there are as many people who make their money elsewhere... either through remote jobs, or have companies based elsewhere which is bringing them money to live well here.
