Wishing the Lottery win for Shabby and Warmweather.
If Shabby obtains an oceanfront then we will all have a party. I'll bring some food.
But, we'll have to ask her first.

Absolutely...party at shabby's casa on the oceanfront!

We have to meet up when I get back to "my" beautiful beach - margaritas on me!

Why would a person want to live longer if in order to do so they have to live in a cold place? Quality over quantity has to come into play at some point. Its almost August and I'm already dreading our six months of cold. Since we've had a few evenings in the low fifties and high forties this July I just know this winter is going to be brutal. And since last winter was pretty short and I was miserable I'm already worried about this winter. If its one of those years where it starts snowing in September and doesn't stop until May I'm going to run away.

That being said, I came on here looking up Myrtle cause we are hoping to come visit in just under 2 weeks and I can't wait! Just yesterday I decided that I'm going to load my ten year old daughter up in the car and we are taking a road trip. Going to visit an old college roomate near DC then I think we are going to keep going down the coast for a few days in Myrtle. Can't wait!

Be sure to visit Market Commons for an enjoyable visit. Wow, I am thinking you have come this way already looking at your posting date.

I hope you got to some of the nice areas and got to enjoy all the warm weather.
Quite nice nights as well.

Having left the snow and cold behind myself, you'd not regret it.

I goofed on my previous post (probably my wishful thinking kicking in).

Actually, I'm arriving in January 2015 - retiring in December 2014. So - one more year and we are getting SO anxious!

Hope you are doing well and that everyone in this wonderful forum has a terrific holiday season!

It's COLD here in Texas - below freezing every night for the last week and no relief until Thursday...quite unusual and my kitties do not like sleeping in the closed-in sunroom!

Summering-

Your post are so upbeat, informative and I look forward to reading them.

The info you provide also is important to many who are looking at moving to the Grand Strand.
