Thanks Gary. Too bad (it will not be a "Super" store). Guess I will still be stopping at Walmart.......

My wife is counting down the days until this store opens. Our 45min one way trips to the current Target are getting really old. To bad no groceries though

Upps, Sorry...Someone told me a Super store, most likely because it will have a grocery section. But, I'm sure by the size of it, it will feel quite "super" to me. LOL
In any case I will be so happy to have Target near me. It will be so nice in the winter to have a nice cup of Starbucks too.
Photo labs come in handy as right now I have been traveling to Walgreens for special orders.
Oh, and thats right, we will have a new Walgreens on the 544 corner too, very soon.
I think I will get to go on Tuesday to Target with our company and check out all the goodies there.
Its so nice and close for us to get to.

There will be some groceries and now I wonder how much?

Cool. Thanks Vicky. Target was high on my wish list, but add Staples, Harbor Freight, Christmas Tree Shop and a closer Costco (which ain't going to happen).

Well Ted, if we're wishing for stores, put me down for a Bloomingdales!

We haven't moved down yet but I love Target, I was hoping for a BJ's wholesale club which I don't think is going to happen. They just opened the first Christmas Tree Shop on Long Island that store is addicting . Harbor Freight also opened close to us that is DH new addiction I keep telling myself a few more years then we'll be in paradise.

Does anyone know if there will be any special promotions/sales going on either tonight when the store opens or at the grand opening on Sunday?

Yes The Christmas Tree Shops are nice. Kind of like Olde Time Pottery, but smaller. Yet the variety is better (IMHO) and they constantly get new items to stock. My daily walk in NJ takes me to the shopping center at the end of the main street. I usually walk through the Christmas Tree Shop there (next to the Costco) to get a drink and use the men's room. More times than not I see one or two useful items I had not seen before and end up stopping back later in the day to purchase them......... I think our NJ condo is 90% decorated with stuff from the CTS!
