Exactly. This has all become a big da-- joke.

Again, this can't be stressed enough: 99% of all deaths to Covid are people age 70 and over. These people are retired, not working, generally not effected by shutdowns in a lot of ways like those of us middle-aged adults.

And if our society isn't smart enough to protect those age 70 and up (our loved ones etc) then how pathetic are we?

I don't ever want to hear how Walz is "moderate" ever again.. He isn't moderate in any sense of the word. He has time and again shown himself to be anything but moderate.

And did everyone here yet see how the governor of California got caught making a mockery of his own draconian shutdown measures? These people don't believe a word that comes out of their mouths with regard to this virus, as Newsom's and quite a few other people from his viewpoint have shown by their behavior over the last year.

One of the main responsibilities a true leader is charged with is keeping morale up. This is the first sign that Walz is crooked. His constant doom and gloom speak......stuff like "We're headed for a long, dark winter", and all the "nightmare scenario" quips...... constantly invoking "dialing things back" rather than moving forward. What kind of leadership is that in the midst of a supposed statewide and national emergency? This guy is former military??

You don't even need that, though. Ilhan Omar. Lisa Bender. Jerimiah and Keith Ellison. John Thompson. Jacob Frey. In bed with all of them. No defense for it at all.... not so much as even a wooden leg to stand on. The lack of condemnation for and endorsement of Thompson after his Hugo shenanigans was especially telling.....and I say that because the lack of action prior to the Minneapolis riots shouldn't even have to be brought up at this point. An honest, capable man who is as proud to be a citizen of this state as he claims he is would not be consorting with those types of people.

Not only should Walz be recalled, he should be indicted and convicted for the damage and chaos he has inflicted upon our state this year. He is nothing more than a willing participant in a blistering liberal coup being staged against the citizens of Minnesota and America as a whole......and his "we're all in this together" shtick doesn't play with anyone who can see him for what he really is.

I am disgusted that my 9 year old’s hockey and basketball teams are put on hold. He hasn’t been learning sh*t at school for almost a year now. He has been at the school everyday as that is where his ‘daycare’ is located, but has only been going to class 2 days of the week and now that is going to ZERO days a week. So,no school and no sports. He is in his school 5 days a week with other kids of mixed grades and the caretakers, just NO teachers, no real instruction and no real interaction with his 4th grade classmates. SICK.

Who knows what the numbers are.

If I see a person got run over by a car on the news, I think he probably gets listed as a covid death.

But in all seriousness, the death rate for middle-aged Americans is minuscule. It's literally TINY compared to flu deaths, for example.

It's craziness to be hurting small businesses like Walz is doing, and to be hurting children too to prove he is King.

And I'm guessing all those under 70 who have died from the virus had other underlying conditions.

How many people have taken a shotgun to their heads since the shutdown? Does Walz care about them?

When I was a kid, I caught scarlet fever and was quarantined for 30 days. My dad and brother moved in with grandma and my mom and I were in our house together for the month. The county tacked a big sign on the front door. Once a week, dad dropped off groceries and the doctor made a house call to check on me. At the end of the month, a county nurse came by the house, verified I was alright, and I went back to school.

No healthy people were quarantined and no businesses were forced to shutdown, even though at the same time there were also influenza and polio epidemics in the country.

What has happened to us?

We're in lockdown - in oh, so many ways.
History is repeating itself.
