She attempted to raise money for her campaign on Twitter, claiming the donations were going to Minnesota Foodshare, which runs food shelves for the needy, but if you look at her Tweet, the “give” button is a link to ActBlue, a Democrat Party PAC. She pretending that this was part of the#GiveAtHomeMN charity drive that’s taking place now.

When the head of Minnesota Foodshare explained that Omar has nothing to do with them and they weren’t receiving the money, she deleted the Tweet.

My question is what kind of a person fraudulently STEALS money that people think is going to help those in need of food and uses it for their own political purposes?

When is she going to be investigated for campaign finance fraud? When are the local news organizations going to put their sympathies for the Democrats aside and do some real investigative reporting? (I’m looking at you, StarTribune.)

Local Imam Tawakal Ismail, whose charitable organization, Darul Hadiith partnered with GMCC’s Minnesota FoodShare , confirms that Ilhan Omar knowingly and falsely claimed to be raising money for the organization through her campaign website. In fact, no politicians were allowed to participate in the drive in order to avoid the appearance of any political affiliation. It is unclear what has happened to the funds that Omar raised through ActBlue. It is a crime to solicit funds under false pretenses.

The wealthy neighborhoods of SW Minneapolis have a lot of yard signs for Anton Melton-Meaux. I’ve seen relatively few for Omar. I have heard that he’s favored by the more connected DFLers but I don’t know what the numbers look like. The incumbent always has a huge advantage and she has raised a lot of money.

I've heard that the Democrat Party has found a lot of people to vote Democrat in that district that have never voted this way before. All of them are planning on mailing in they're absentee ballots. This would be news to them if they weren't already dead.
