I hear that from a lot of people in this forum as well.

Well, evidently the liberal-run government in Minnesota must be doing something right. Otherwise you wouldn't still be living here.

Do you think it's easy to just leave your home? I mean, seriously.

People live in a specific area for lots of different reasons— mostly because they’re either from the area or found work there— but very few would factor in politics.

And since Minnesota is almost evenly split between the two major political parties, I don’t know if that means everyone stays or everyone goes.

Yes MN is almost evenly split between the two parties. But the Socialism here is VERY strong. Minneapolis in particular is very heady with socialism and has a superiority complex and myopic. Harsh words, sorry. As a lifelong employee of the city of Mpls., DH, we had the good fortune to be able to leave he city when they ruled that city employees didn’t have to live there. We ran. 1986. That lasted a couple of years then they stopped it but grandfathered us in. Don’t know what the ruling is right now. But thank God for that escape!

It's one of the whitest states, too.

That's a serious sin according to the wack-jobs. It's too white.

And you know, if they have a problem with that, maybe they are the ones that should leave.

How is Minneapolis traitorous?
How about sticking triplexes into family neighborhoods? How about the city council micromanaging the cops?

Please explain how this is unconstitutional or rescinds rights from residents. According to conservatives, "unconstitutional" is just a folksy colloquialism for "I DON'T LIKE IT".

Maybe you just aren't very good at selecting friends or maybe if you are spewing this nonsense, minnesotians are less likely to either treat you kindly or be friends with you to begin with. Hard to say, but if any of this bile is leaking out, don't expect to be attracting high quality individuals.

The White Sox had lower attendence than the twins last year despite existing in a 10 million area metro. The area has two teams so saying they have a 5 million area draw would be fairer to state. If you compare that to the 3.6 million draw of the Minneapolis metro, you would have to say, based on last year, that Minnesota fans are more loyal. But that is simplistic reasoning when there are complex reasons possibly at play.

I don't think you have even a superficial understanding of both political or economic theory so a discussion would be pointless.

The only thing I came away from your post is you experienced an unfortunate personal event that is causing you to blame the region rather than take personal responsibility.
The white Sox had lower attendance because baseball isn't a popular sport. It wasn't fans turning away when their team lost it was no interest period.
