Atlantic hurricane season’s dry spell could end soon. Why has it been so quiet?

I can't believe summer coming to an end. I didn't find it unbearable. This is so worth the trade off coming from up north. Winter for me was a miserable experience. The summer here in Miami was manageable. For me the last two weeks of August and so far the beginning of September have been the hottest. June was actually very nice. And we are about to turn the corner to several months of amazing weather. Doesn't seem real.

Summer doesn’t really end here until the end of October….another 6 weeks to get through—but soon.

I don't mind it at all. Ran last night. Went to Margaret Pace Park in the morning. Evenings are great. Breeze seems endless over here by the bay. Whatever comes next is just gravy. LOL! I am never leaving!

Ran three miles this morning. It's hot, but man if this is the worst, I landed in paradise!

Can't believe already rolling into October. My first summer here in Miami was amazing. I was so nervous about how hot it would get during the summer and it wasn't that bad. For me the last two weeks of Aug. and the month of Sept. were the hottest. But, never did I think "OMG, this is so hot I can't live here!" I can't believe how manageable the summer was and now moving into prime weather. This is incredible!

Ian must have pulled out all the humidity here today! When I work up it was 65 degrees and low humidity. I love it!

Up until a few weeks ago this summer was drier but also was hotter (had a week or two also that was hot end of May) than last year—which was a mild summer.
