Bahahaha --- me thinks 'you have a problem' understanding the difference between 'Passing a Bill' (approved by the Senate) and making it a law (by the house) and then signed into an 'ACT' by the governor.
On Friday, the Maryland Senate approved the “Access to Care Act” on a party line vote of 34-13. With the House version of the bill already approved, the legislation is in good position to make its way to the governor’s desk.

How nice...

Especially when there are Millions of Americans who go 'without health insurance' because they fall into the Obama Crack Slot (too little for Obama care, too much for Medicaid).

How did this happen ?

"How did this happen ?

This what you get when you elect liberal dems.

Their endgame is to let them VOTE!

Guy, you're continuously debating yourself over nothing. You've either forgotten why your initial post was dumb or you never understood in the first place. Either way, I can't help you.

I believe letting illegals vote in local elections is evil and disgusting. Local elections are probably more important than any other because the policies affect the residents of those jurisdictions more on a personal level.

Letting illegals vote does nothing but dilute the votes of Americans who are supposed to be represented by those they voted for. Those representatives are beholden to the interest of their constituents, not the interests of some illegal that stole their way into the country and who keep taking advantage of the system.

I'm not advocating that non-citizens, regardless of their status, be allowed to vote but I've bolded the rationale used to allow it.

The argument is that those people live in the community and are directly impacted by the actions of the local officials.

That's what was used in Takoma Park when it was approved and then used subsequently in the other municipalities.

In some cases, the undocumented Hispanic represent the largest potential voting block and may constitute the largest racial group (excluding European whites) or even the majority in their community, especially the older communities in PG County bordering DC.

Obviously this hasn't gone unnoticed by the MD Democratic Party. For instance, in the US Senate race, three MD Democratic Party candidates (Trone, Alsobrooks and Dominguez) are on record supporting amnesty and voting rights for illegal aliens.

As long as we are okay with de facto segregation, then we should continue to flood the state of Maryland with illegal aliens and give them all kinds of rights.

If you make your bed, you have to sleep in it.

Dems outnumber repubs.

Not that hard to figure out.

You get what you vote for.

Pretty much every country in the western world does this. Non-citizen residents can vote in local elections, but not state/national elections. People here are whining about nothing. Besides, most of the people whining are supposed Christians, who use Leviticus to demonize gays, but forget (or choose to willfully ignore) this part:

Leviticus 19:34

"You must treat the foreigner living among you as native-born and love him as yourself, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God."

Damn those Dems, living up to Christain values, unlike actual Christians in this country and state.

At any rate, illegals won't want to vote, as then they need ID and/or it brings them into danger of being captured and deported. And remember this, most illegal immigrants in this country are people who've overstayed their visas, not migrant workers doing jobs that no one wants, for pay that no one will accept.
