Greenbelt is due to have a referendum on it. The vote for the referendum was 2/3 in favor, so you can probably add it to the above list soon.

Apparently, 11 MD jurisidications permit noncitizens* to vote, with both Greenbelt and Rockville in the batter's box.

Quote:
Three towns along the Route 1 corridor allow non-citizens to vote in local elections, a policy aimed at getting new immigrants more involved that is gaining ground nationally, and now Washington, D.C. is considering its own measure, which would affect some 51,000 foreign-born residents.

Hyattsville allows 16-year-olds who have lived in the city for at least 30 days before Election Day to vote in local races, regardless of citizenship. In Riverdale Park, they must live in the city for at least 45 days. And in Mount Rainier, voters must be at least 18.

In all, 11 Maryland towns allow non-citizens to vote, out of just 15 in the entire U.S.
* Not sure how it is defined.

Wow...where are the voters protesting this?

This is against the Constitution of the UNITED STATES --- can't vote unless you are Citizen !

The interpretation is that the voting is only for the local municipal election (Mayor, Town Council), not state or federal offices so is legal.

That's directly contrary to the article.

BTW; 'Is it now allowed to hurl insults and Name call other posters?' --- if so let me know (i'm real good with that).

The U.S. is becoming more and more accommodating to foreign born persons. I'm sure they have their reasons.
People have to adapt with the times or fall behind. Maybe other countries will allow gringos to help their economy with more access if they want to live there.

Option A. you have poor reading comprehension
Option B. your source of "news" is lying to you

Let us know when you figure out why you believe the exact opposite of reality.

It failed pretty overwhelmingly here in Rockville last election. As did allowing 16 and 17-year-olds to vote (all of this being related to just local elections, obviously).

Who's got Reading Comp Issues ???

So you're saying 'Maryland Senate did not pass this act --- the story is made up by Fox' --- Lets see what other sources say.

"Sources familiar with the legislation told Fox News Digital that the bill would not add additional costs to Maryland taxpayers --- If signed into law, the legislation would allow undocumented citizens access to purchase health care at the same rate as American citizens."

You might wanna try your 'Gaslighting' routine with your Bar-Fly Friends... I'm sure Leftoids (like yourself) will buy it!
